Community is at the core of AYILA

At AYILA, we believe preventing insect-borne diseases requires more than great products. It requires education and equitable access, both of which are made possible through community action. Through awareness campaigns, practical training and affordable solutions, we work alongside communities across Uganda to promote healthier homes and lasting impact.

Awareness Campaigns

Working in rural communities across Uganda, we conduct awareness campaigns to increase knowledge about insect-borne diseases and the importance of clean, healthy living environments. We also provide discounted and, where needed, free products to vulnerable households, ensuring cost is not a barrier to better health.

Sanitation Campaigns

We deliver community sensitization sessions that educate marginalized households on hygiene, sanitation, and practical ways to prevent insect-borne diseases using safe, everyday practices. Interested in learning more? Reach out to us on Whatsapp or Email.

Soap & Detergent Production Training

We offer subsidized training in bar soap and detergent production, equipping community members with practical skills to produce their own cleaning products, improve personal household hygiene, and even create new income-generating opportunities.

Customer Support & Follow-Up

Our commitment doesn't end after a purchase. We provide ongoing customer support, product guidance, and follow-up visits to ensure our solutions continue to meet the needs of households and communities.

Support AYILA today!

We’re raising $5,000 to help Ayila expand their production and purchase a plastic melting machine so they can recycle returned bottles into new packaging. They already operate a bottle return program because they’re committed to reducing plastic waste, but this machine will allow them to close the loop and build a more circular business. The funding will also help support the founders themselves. For four years, they’ve poured everything they have into growing Ayila without being able to pay themselves. The funds will allow them to support their families while expanding their production and scaling up, bringing in more revenue for the company and for themselves.
